Event Format:
The event will be a half day,
starting at 10am, run by a volunteer
committee made up of transracial adoptees.
The event will include a selection of
short & medium length films
and showcase adoptee artists who will share their works and be available
to answer questions of their experiences. The event will end with a
panel, made up of transracial adoptees for
general Q& A and sharing of their adoption experiences, where relevant.
Refreshments & lunch can be purchased at Cafe's within
the Conference Centre or from restaurants in the nearby area.
Alternatively, bring your own and use the venue's spacious mezzanine
areas.
The event will provide access to a publication
of short film maker & artist
biographies, film & art reviews
where possible, interviews, and
a list of transracial /
inter-country adoption resources.
