Adoption Quarterly is planning a special edition of the journal, with a
working title: Issues in Gay and Lesbian Adoption scheduled to be published
December 2009. The guest editor for this special edition is Dr. Stephen

* Attitudes towards gay and lesbian adoption (e.g. amongst
adoptive parents, professionals, birth relatives, adopted children or
adults, the community).
* Innovative practice models from professionals and agencies
in planning, supporting or assisting adoptive families with gay and lesbian
parents ( e.g. pre-adoption training, post adoption services including work
with collaterals such as schools and creating or developing post-adoption
support systems)
