I was adopted just before my fifth birthday in 1984 from Seoul, South Korea. Apparently I was born in Daegu (a few hours south of Seoul) and was left as a newborn on someone's doorstep. My Korean name according to my paperwork is Eun Kyung Byun but have since found out it is Eun Joo Lee.

I've remained in Perth, WA since my adoption and have a loving family. I have a sister who is four years older and is my parent's biological daughter. 

I've been back to Korea twice, in 2002 and 2004. Both times were amazing experiences and a great opportunity to connect with other adoptees. When I first arrived in Seoul in 2002 I finally felt like I had finally come home. I hope to get back there in 2009.

I have recently moved to Sydney, NSW and am keen to make some new friends and explore new places.  I love to connect with other adoptees and look forward to organizing some social events.
