Taiwanese Country of Origin Representative

I was born in Taiwan in the 1960’s and was adopted by Americans.  I grew up in Canada, the USA and Australia.  I’ve followed my adoptive parents’ interests in international education, social justice and Asian Studies so ended up studying Asian Studies at a university in Australia as well as Japanese and Chinese language (in Tokyo and mainland China).  After several trips to Taiwan, I found some of my birth family in late 2005.  Sadly, I found that my birth parents died a long time ago.  I’m now back in Taiwan relearning mandarin Chinese, learning about my Taiwanese roots and enjoying the fabulous hiking and performing arts here.
